Although the young German dominated, that didn’t mean the season was lacking in excitement – far from it in fact. The challenge of Pirelli’s specially designed tyres and the use of DRS and KERS produced plenty of thrilling on-track action, and more overtaking in a single race than there used to be in whole seasons!
